I need to two or three. We just need to get price estimates for. 10, 20, or 30 THEN see how many people need them.

Goodwinds sells Kitespar. Yes it's fiberglass, no it's not what you want in place of bandshoppe poles. It's literally used to make the gigantic flying hobby kites. Those one's that will pick a small person up. Kitespar is superior to graphite to make blues, but it is still brittle, easily broken with the wrong style / used incorrectly. So unless you're willing to put A LOT of time, money, and frustration into building weapons that break as you adjust to the learning curve, avoid this, go with PVC or Goodwill boughten golf club (graphite) cores for a bit. I'm not sure about the Max-Gain website, it doesn't look like it would replace bandshoppe. Sounds like it has too thin of walls to be impact resistant / resilient. Fury of the Northern Steppes talks about a place out of Ft. Wayne selling band shoppe like poles for less cost (per unit) in a retail manner. Could check into that option. Drive up to pick up materials and stay for the practice! or event, as the case may be. They have a Tandy leather there now too. I know Band Shoppe.com has a $10 fee on orders under 10 units. So if you need 8, the fee covers you buying the other 2 and it didn't jack shipping for those 2 units. I did an order April before last for 20 poles and shipping was just shy of $1 a pole.

Hey everyone, Brevin Azura, a member of the Stormhaven chapter and I too am trying to get an order together for Bandshoppe poles! Stubbie referred me over here so we can discuss this.
As of right now, there are only 3 (since I only posted the topic in our forums today) that I know of that want in on the order. Give it a few days and I'm sure there will be more. How many of you are looking to buy some poles?

it seems the magic number for bandshoppe poles is 10-20. If you get 10, the price is 14.80 a pole, if 20 people order, its 14.18.

Hey Elik, are you cutting shipping into those? I ordered 20 poles and I know i was selling 5 and 6' poles for $10 ea, I'm thinking 8ft was $13. That was with shipping cut in ,I made like 15 cents a pole when I rounded prices. Granted it was 2 years ago and no, I didn't do it to make a profit.
Them be the poles Liam
