This is an Open RP. Feel free to keep the Story going. The Bubbling Stein, Is a Tavern/Inn located in the town of Ores. The Bubbling Stein is two stories with the Inn upstairs and the Tavern downstairs. It has two eight foot doors with a four foot door located in each of the eight foot doors for shorter races. The Sign on the door says "ABSOLUTELY NO: Discrimination, Violence."
Waking up in room 13 of "The Bubbling Stein Inn" Gryphon pulled the covers from his body. When he came to all six of his senses he arose from the feathery bed and put on his leathery boots strapping his dagger to the inside. The Innkeepers son knocked on Gryphons door for his six o'clock wake up call. Gryphon opened the door to see the Keepers Son holding the rest of his gear he walked in with.
The Innkeepers son looked at Gryphon a bit scared as he was foreign to him. Being a Goblin he probably thought Gryphon was going to eat him. He handed Gryphon his Grey Cloak along with his Sword and Shield. Gryphon thanked him with a nod as he threw his Cloak around his Neck, Sheathed his Sword and hung his Shield over his Left Shoulder.
Gryphon followed the Keepers Son down the stairs to his Father the Innkeeper, Gryphon handed the Innkeeper Six Silver Pieces for the room. The Innkeeper asked Gryphon if he would stay a little longer and have some breakfast on the house for being the First Goblin to come to his Inn and not cause trouble. Gryphon kindly agreed with a smile and took up a table in the corner next to the small Bard Troupe that was playing.
Gryphon pulled up his hood to cover his face as he was still sleepy and the light coming in through the Stained Glass Windows was hurting his eyes. Looking around he saw some Interesting people who were advertising for adventure. Gryphon decided to sit and listen in to his environment to see what they were offering, While he waited for his Breakfast he sipped slowly on his Stein of Cider.
OOC: 1) The Innkeeper and his Son are the only two who know my Race. 2) The Bard Troupe is on my Right about Ten Strides. 3) No one knows my name.

Galea entered the town that morning from the temporary shelter he'd made in the forest nearby for the night. Not one to spend the night indoors he much preferred the comfort of the trees and stars to lull him to sleep. He did however, appreciate a warm breakfast and the Bubbling Stein Inn had some of the best in town. He approached the building while wondering how many passersby had stayed here for the night. Not too many trouble makers he'd hoped.
Galea was scouting the surrounding lands as he had been for the past few months looking for signs of his family. Galea's tribe was nomadic, they traveled to new areas learning as much about the common trades, fighting styles, and culinary as they could before moving onto a new area. He had left his clan to prove himself and mature as a warrior for 4 years before returning to his home. Three weeks ago he had finally ran into one of the older members who had finally reached that age where a nomadic lifestyle was no longer plausible. He had informed Galea of the last known coordinates of his tribe some 2 years ago. Far too old of information to be of any use. However, he said that they ought to be due back to the area in another year or two and thought it best for Galea to stay nearby and await their return. So he had begun a new search; comrades to make better use of his time while he waited.
A grumble roused him from his thoughts. He was rather hungry, afterall, the only food he'd had the day before was a tiny ground squirrel he'd managed to catch in one of his traps. He opened the door to the inn and boldly stepped in while wondering to himself what he would have for breaskfast this morning. The inn's restaurant was fairly empty compared to it's size. A few people were spread about randomly, some locals, others travelers. A few were eating while others were getting ready for the day.
He ordered a drink as he walked across the room and choose an empty table to the left of another with only a sole 'person' sitting at it drinking slowly. No doubt someone who had stayed the night at the inn. Not giving much notice to him he sat down and waited for the waitress to take his order when she brought him his drink.

"Fallen", as he had become known as, started towards the town of Ores. He had come across the name of the town of a particular tavern in town that stuck his interest. As he entered the town he couldn't help but be overwhelmed by the sense that he had been here once before. Ignoring the thought he approached a tavern that he thought would be a wise decision to visit in his hunt for answers. The Bubbling Stein was recommended to him for questioning as it had become known for housing random passerby and adventurer alike.
This was not the first time "Fallen" had stopped to look for answers as he was not sure of his past. He had not known who he was or where he was from for the last few years, so those that spoke to him frequently had just come to know him as "Fallen". Looking for his past has caused him to become two things. One was that he seldom spoke to those he didn't trust so most thought he never spoke, and two was that he found that people tried to avoid him. Since he had become used to the fact that few people spoke to him and even fewer knew him, he decided to entern the tavern.
"Fallen", noticed a few things the moment he opened the large door of the tavern. First, it was a just as lively as he was told, and second was that there were people sitting along the back wall that looked like he might be able to get information from. As to not draw unnecessary attention to himself, he took a seat close to the bartender and ordered some cider.

Eugenides had been traveling with the musicians for many months, stopping and entertaining the local inns in each town the reached. He was a thief among bards and it was unclear to the other players why he travled with them. He simply said he loved the music. Only he knows why he traveled this far. As the music played next to him he retreived a letter from his pack and peered around the room. Not a lively bunch. He was used to barfights and chaos when getting a drink back home. He glanced at the letter once more before returning it to his pack. "So, the temple ruins are a half day away", he said to himself,"The stone has got to be there." The thief knew that the stone could not be just taken but stolen, by a thief who made no mistakes. He could afford no mistakes, his home depended on it. And that stone was its only salvation. The waitress brought him a drink but Gen politly refused as he rested against the wall and closed his eyes...he was formulating his plan.

OOC: 1) Gryphons been in the tavern since 6:50 2) Galea, arrived at the tavern at 7:20 3) Fallen, arrived at the tavern at 7:40 4) Eugenides, arrived at the tavern at 8:00
After sitting at his table for a while Gryphon noticed three new additions at "The Bubbling Stein Tavern" he wondered to himself what the occasion was and then remembered that Oktoberfest was coming to town within the Weekend. Some of the regulars were itching to play some cards as the sun started to shine brighter into the tavern through its Stained Glass Windows.
Gryphon stood up from his table and walked past the Bard Troupes Stage and a single 'Musician' who he assumed was up after the Bards. Gryphon ended up at a table close to the bar occupied by three Gnomes. All the gnomes saw was a shadowed face with shiny teeth and leery eyes. Gryphon pulled out a pack of cards from his satchel and dealt the Gnomes in. He knew these Gnomes were suckers for cards and were Tavern Regulars.
Gryphon asked the Gnomes if they new any information about anyone who was looking for work. The first Gnome from the left shook his head no as he flipped his first and second cards over, He had a pair of 2's. Gryphon looked at the Middle Gnome who replied that he heard the Dwarfs were looking for Excavators. That wasn't the kind of work Gryphon was interested in. Uncle Oswald the last Gnome was a Tavern favorite, Everyone in the town knew him.
Uncle Oswald told Gryphon as he flipped over a pair of A's. That the Orcs who resided outside the town had roused up some Trolls. These trolls were pretty upset that the Orcs where making camps in their Forested Caves. Gryphons eyes looked intrigued as he flipped over a Wild Card. The three Gnomes sighed and payed Gryphon his earnings of two Silver pieces each.
The Tavern Mistress brought Gryphon and the three Gnomes their breakfast. Gryphon downed his breakfast hastily as he was hungry, said his goodbyes to the Gnomes and headed out the Tavern door. But before he could make his exit the Bard Troupes music picked up pace and caught Gryphons attention.

Oximus or Ox as some knew me by. Saw a tavern in the the corner of the town and after a long blood battle that took four days thought the tavern was looking like a good place to get a bit to eat. As I open the door to the tavern and walk though, I saw only about four travelers and a few workers. I thought to myself this would be a fine place to eat. As I went to the restroom to get the blood off my hands I passed a seldom spoke person setting alone with something on his mind like he was lost. After leaving the restroom I passed him again and this time the traveler looked back. I was almost sure I had seen this man before. But wasn't sure, os I said nothing to him. As I took a seat half way from the bar to the stage were it looked like someone I thought looked like he was being watch from all sides. As I waited for someone to take my order I looked onother around the Tavern and saw a dazed adventurer and another person from the look of him. He was in a traveling clan that I passed not more then four weeks ago. As I was sitting the sword hang on my back was not feeling too good because of how the seats were made. So i took it off my back and at the same time a few people gave me a look of worry. The waiter said with a nervous look what can i get for you. As i gave him my order he started to calmdown and said ok it will be a few minutes and i said that will be fine.

Gen overheard the gnomes conversation and thought that if trolls were upset company mite be a good idea...at least until the ruins. There were many travelers and they look trained with a sword, definitely the big guy who came into the tavern with blood on his hands. But many just arrived and were enjoying breakfast. All but the cloaked winner of the gnome card game, he was leaving. "Better catch him before he leaves", he said. The band picked up pace and Gen stood up quickly and met the glowing eyes of the traveler. Strange he thought but he had seen strange before. "You going north into the woods?" he asked the hooded traveler.

When the door to the tavern opened Fallen looked up and met the rather large person with his eyes. Something about him seemed oddly familiar. Trying to keep a low profile he looks back down at his untouched cider. The talk about adventure around him made him think that he should begin questioning the other adverturers in the tavern to see if any of them might be able to help him with regaining his lost memory. . The hooded adverturer Fallen had been trying to keep an eye on was now leaving. One of the musicians questioned the hooded person about the north woods... Odd it seemed that it came out of nowhere. Fallen got up from the bar and approached the table the traveler had just gotten up from due to the fact that it seemed these gnomes had some useful information. As he approached the table his sword shifted under his dark cloak and made a loud "clank!" as the steel of the hilt hit the table the gnomes were at. Suddenly Fallen knew that he was no longer able to hide his prescence as all the people in the tavern were not starring directly at him...

Galea downed his breakfast with utter delight. This inn was undoubtedly the best eating for miles around. He was so absorbed in his meal that he didn't noticed the cloaked figure change tables nor the 2 new individuals to the room. It wasn't until he was nearly finished, the same time as the when the band switched to a more active song, that he noticed the change in his surroundings. The hooded creature, for he had enough experience to tell from the gate that it wasn't human, had begun to walk towards the door and leave the inn when he was intercepted by another. Wondering if this second person was trying to pick a fight he watched carefully. Then he noticed that his weren't the only eyes drawn to the strangers. Two other characters were closely watching; one, another human like his self, while the other was an orc/troll (sorry I forget what you are Ox)
He wasn't sure about the two who had begun to exit the doors of the inn together nor the hulking mass, but this other fellow sitting near the gnomes looked friendly enough and perhaps just capable enough to not get himself killed in a fight. With that thought he finished his meal and leaving his money on the table got up and approached the individual.
"Don't reckon I've seen you around here before have I?" he asked the man. "Names Galea, I'm from around the area and spend alot of my time in the nearby towns. What brings you to the area? Anything I can be assistance of?"

Gryphon replied "South Woods" to the Musically Inclined Stranger then pointed over to the Bard Troupe on stage. As their music picked up pace and pitch the tavern floors started to shake. With the sounds of Steins falling from the rack and Eating Utensils clanking against their Plates and Bowls. Gryphon had an uneasy nervous look to him.
Gryphon suggested to the Musical Stranger to talk to the other four adventurers that came into the tavern before this uneasy event took place. He asked "These adventurers may find me to be slight intimidating because of my race. I do not want to cause trouble. So if you would have them meet me outside by the stables I will explain my being here in this place."
After that being said Gryphon walked out the door and across the street to the Stable.
OOC: The Stable is across the dirt road from The Bubling Stein. It is a wooden structure with a Straw Thatched Roof. Their are Eight Horse Stalls. And Two Stable Workers.

As the order taker walk away i turn to ask him if he was worried about my sword that i just pull off my back or the fact that i was a Orc. He said a little of both and the fact that it looks like you just got done killing a lot of people he said. Well i replied that there was no need to be worry about me. At the same time i hear the sound of a sword hit something and turn to look and i seen the seldom spoke person was behind the table the gnomes were at. Then i turn to the door opening to see the dazed adventurer and one of the musicians questioned him were walking out the door. then i turn back and see the other human that look like from the same group of people that i saw not to long age walking the hooded one that made the noise and saw them talk. wounding about what is going out i walk up to these people with my own questions about them and what is going up north for i was going to head up that way myself and hear the other two talking about the northern woods and what'd to make sure i was not going to head toward trouble if i go this way.

As the hooded figured and the musician spoke Fallen sat back down near the gnomes. As he sat back down he was approached by someone who looked like they had traveled and seen a lot. This seemed like the perfect moment to be able to acquire some new information. Maybe nothing on his past, but maybe just enough to set him on the right path. Galea, is who he introduced himself as. He seemed friendly enough. Fallen looked up slowly and met the stranger eye to eye. "People simply refer to me as 'Fallen'. I've been roaming around for some time now looking for information." Galea starred back at him with something that seemed like intrigue so Fallen continued. "I've been looking for people that might have information about me, or rather, my past. I'm looking to set out and you're more than welcome to come with me." Galea simply smiled and apologized for not being able to help with his lost memory. "Those two who just left, I think they may be heading out somewhere to the north. I think i'm going to head after them. You're more than welcome to follow if you'd like."

The hooded figure was out the door in a flash, leaving Gen in a very unreal and uneasy feeling. Why did the stranger want with the others to go to the stables? Gen began to question himself on what the others had to do with the temple ruins. Probably nothing he thought, might as well get them to the stables. He slowly walked to the table and overlooked everyone sitting. There where a few gnomes, and couple humans and an orc, which made Gen a little nervous. He thoughts often shifted to his shortsword as he looked at the orc. He figured the humans would be easy to converse with. " Good day men, are the two of companions?" They both shook their heads, explaining they had just met just moments ago. "Ah, well my name is Eugenides, freinds back home call me Gen", he leaned against the back of an empty chair," I have traveled from far northeast of here, a town in the hills called Ardawn." he stood up and caught stares with the brute orc, Gen was never fond of orcs, wild race. "The fellow I was talkin to moments ago asked for our presence at the stables across the way, I do not know why but he may need your help."

Xarnata, A figure simply discribable as huminoid, as he was cloaked in a black robe and the shadows cast portrayed a youth of 19 years, hardly muscular with no hair protruding from the hole where his face could be seen if one could look through deep shadows. If one were so inclined they would knotice that the robe had no holes in it but three locations in the shadow seemed to be missing, two which moved with his hands and one complacent in the center of the shadow. He looked around without opening his eyes, never seeming to be blind. He walked to the nearest chair and sat down slowly and agilely as if he was simply moving in water, slower yet more precise. He pulled out a piece of paper with thin writing on it, his hand a flash. What could be seen before he put his hand back into his robe was an elvish symbol next to an orcish symbol, one red and one blue. He sat and waited for someone to pick up the paper.
"One pie, any meat aside from sentiant meat. One ale, weakest you have. 3 Loaves of bread. One silver coin."
OOC: Very reclusive, if you can't tell. I've had this character since I was 17 and he's always fun. Go gaia online for helping me master this guy's info XD.
