Alright. First is me, then I'll post my character story. I started Dagorhir in the fall of 2005 when a guy in my class at Univ of Evansville stumbled across some people doing it one day. They turned out to be the founders of the Fangorn Forest realm. That guy (MacDim) still fights in MittleMarch. I developed my skills in Fangorn and met some of my current dag friends for the first time there. I was active there till 2008 when I transfered schools. I took a year off and in 2009 met some guys starting a realm in Anderson, IN. Got back into the swing of the game and started attending BSU practices. Now Elwood has its own realm and I'm glad to be apart of it.
now for my character story.

Born to a nomadic clan, Galea has only known travel since he was little. As his clan would come to a new area, they would stay long enough to gather what information they could about the town's specialties; be it carpentry, cooking, farming, or fighting before moving onto the next town. This enabled the members of his clan to be rather adept in many different skills and also enabled survival through tough times. Meeting new types of people and creatures every few months also enabled Galea and his clan to become skilled at reading situations and people's hidden emotions. Like the other boys and girls, Galea was taught from a young age how to traverse the land, how to hunt, to hide, and to fight. The training was a mix of all different cultures but mostly used the shadows to hide in, attack and disapear, repeating as necissary.
Seeing the strength of some of his family, Galea wanted to grow as strong as he possibly could and choose to undergo the last training regime available. Galea would leave his clan to train alone for 4 years, traveling the land. He must continue to gather useful information and at the end of 4 years he must be able to track down his clan on his own and then fight the weapon's specialist to prove he has grown enough to return.
Galea set out after saying his farewells and gathering supplies at the age of 19. He spent the next year traveling around and training on his own before stumbling upon the small village of CrannMeigeall in Fangorn Forest. It was one of the smallest villages he had come to yet the strength of its warriors surpassed that of even some of the largest nations. He decided he would stay here for awhile and learn what he could and grow with these warriors. In time he grew to view Fangorn as his second home. Sadly this did not last, for while he was away on a mission A large invading army struck from the south and nearly destroyed the village and all but its strongest warriors who were forced to retreat.
Upon his return he was able to track down his comrade Tári Tinehtelë who informed him of the situation and advised him to head north to warn their allies while she would stay to rebuild Fangorn. He didn't like the idea, but he knew that he was better needed elsewhere and that without the support of the neighboring realms, all would be lost. Galea soon set out and spent a year in travel searching for allies. Eventually he met up with another small nomadic group who were attempting to establish a village with little success. With the support of existing towns and old friends, The Glass Lands were eventually built. While still small, the numbers are growing each week as well as the skill of it's warriors.
